How to Fix “Browser Keeps Loading, Blank Screen, or Blank Page” Issues

These issues are typically caused by cached data, browser extensions, outdated software, or network problems. Follow the steps below based on your device and browser.

🖥️ On Computer Browsers

Google Chrome (Windows/Mac)

  1. Clear Cache and Cookies:

    • Click the three dots (top right) → SettingsPrivacy and SecurityClear browsing data.

    • Select "All time", check "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files" → Clear data.

  2. Disable Extensions:

    • Go to chrome://extensions/ and disable extensions one by one to identify any problematic ones.

  3. Update Chrome:

    • Click the three dots → HelpAbout Google Chrome. Chrome will auto-update if needed.

  4. Restart the Browser/Device.

Microsoft Edge (Windows)

  1. Clear Browsing Data:

    • Click the three dots → SettingsPrivacy, search, and servicesClear browsing data.

  2. Disable Extensions:

    • Go to edge://extensions/ and turn off any unnecessary extensions.

  3. Update Edge:

    • Click the three dots → Help and feedbackAbout Microsoft Edge.

  4. Restart the Browser/Device.

Mozilla Firefox (Windows/Mac)

  1. Clear Cache and Cookies:

    • Click the three lines (top right) → SettingsPrivacy & Security → Scroll to Cookies and Site DataClear Data.

  2. Disable Add-ons:

    • Click the three lines → Add-ons and themesExtensions → Disable suspicious add-ons.

  3. Update Firefox:

    • Click the three lines → HelpAbout Firefox.

  4. Restart the Browser/Device.

Safari (Mac)

  1. Clear History and Cache:

    • Click Safari in the top menu → Clear History.

    • Then go to SafariPreferencesPrivacyManage Website DataRemove All.

  2. Disable Extensions:

    • SafariSettingsExtensions → Uncheck to disable.

  3. Update Safari:

    • Safari updates with macOS updates. Go to System SettingsSoftware Update.

  4. Restart Safari/Mac.

📱 On Mobile Devices

Android (Google Chrome)

  1. Clear App Cache:

    • Go to SettingsAppsChromeStorageClear cache.

  2. Update Chrome:

    • Open Google Play Store → Search Chrome → Tap Update if available.

  3. Restart Your Phone.

iPhone (Safari)

  1. Clear Safari History and Data:

    • Go to SettingsSafariClear History and Website Data.

  2. Close and Reopen Safari:

    • Swipe up (or double-tap home) and swipe Safari off the screen.

  3. Restart Your iPhone.

  4. Update iOS (if needed):

    • Go to SettingsGeneralSoftware Update.

If the Issue Persists

  • Try accessing the website in Incognito/Private Mode to rule out extensions or cookies.

  • Restart your router or switch to another network (Wi-Fi vs. mobile data).

  • Temporarily disable antivirus/firewall settings to check for interference.
