How to Add a New Role

Connecting a new provider to Dayforce requires a secure setup process. Before the systems can share information, you must create a dedicated "User Role".

Here is the step-by-step guide to creating a role so you can safely connect Sapia.ai to Dayforce.

  1. Go to System Admin and click Roles.

2. Click Add to create a new role.

3. Enter the Name, Description, Reference Code, and Password Policy.

  • Note: Provide clear details in these fields so the role's purpose and permissions are easily identifiable.

4. With your new role selected, navigate to the Features tab, expand the System Admin folder in the feature tree, and check the box for External Integrations—this grants any user assigned to this role the ability to view and configure integration metadata.

5. Click Save.
