How to create an Integration System User (ISU) for Sapia.ai

Learn how to create an Integration System User (ISU) in Workday specifically for Sapia.ai integration.

  1. Access the Create Integration System User task and configure a Workday account for the integration.

    1. Create a username following your organization's naming convention.
      Sapia.ai recommends using naming convention: ISU_Sapia.

    2. Create a strong password as per your organization policy and enter it in the required fields. Do not select the Generate Random Password option.
      Take note of the password created and provide Sapia.ai with the password in secure way.

    3. Leave the Session Timeout Minutes value at the default of 0 to prevent session expiration.
      An expired session may interrupt integration processing.

    4. Select the Do Not Allow UI Sessions checkbox.
      This setting restricts the system user account to integration use only, preventing UI sign-ins.

  2. Access the Maintain Password Rules task.

    1. Add the integration system user to the System Users Exempt from Password Expiration field.
