By default emails triggered by Sapia - interview invites, reminders, rejection emails and My Insights profiles - are sent from the Sapia.ai domain. This means that the sender of any of these emails will be 'notifications@sapia.ai'.
Customers can now enable these emails to be sent from their domain (e.g. hiring@acme.co), building consistency in branding through the application process, and ensuring that candidates won't ignore or miss emails, as they'll come from your brand.
To set up a customised email domain, please liaise with your Customer Success Manager at Sapia, or make contact via support@sapia.ai. It will require your tech team to make a small change, similar to setting up SSO.
The steps in the process include:
1. Customer to provide a valid email address and the display name that you would like us to use.
Note that if the email address is a no-reply address, we will make sure that in the body of the email, there is a way for the candidate to reach out to Sapia if the candidate needs assistance. However, if the candidate can reply to the email address, please ensure that if it is a Sapia-related issue that the candidate is requesting assistance with, your Recruiters direct the candidate to support@sapia.ai
2. The Sapia team will configure the email identity in our system and share the CNAME with the customer.
3. The customer’s technical team should add the CNAME to their DNS settings.
4. Once verification passes (approximately 72 hours), we will turn on the customised email address feature.
